Albacutya Bridge Closure Published on 18 October 2021 Council has permanently closed the Albacutya Bridge after a condition inspection revealed the bridge is further deteriorating. This deterioration was likely accelerated due to the recent earthquake. All road users wishing to travel Albacutya Rd past Outlet Creek, will now be required to use the gravel bypass by following the detour roadside traffic management signage. Lighting a Fire in a Residential Area Published on 16 August 2021 Council would like to remind all residents of the Hindmarsh Shire that if you wish to light a fire on your property and live in a built up area, you may be required to obtain a permit to burn in the open air.
